RCT met up with Richards at the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, which she attended with husband Mauricio Umansky, a celebrity real estate agent. Looking as glamorous in person as she does on the show, Richards talked to RCT reporter Carly Steel about her beauty breakdown for the night, and what her must-have fashion accessories are.
The fashion queen’s must-have items are shoes and handbags. “I’m a Chanel girl so that’s what I buy the most of…I have quite a collection,” she confessed.
Richards, who did her own makeup for the night, used a purple liquid eyeliner to create the dramatic cat eye effect. Her hairstyle for the red carpet event was a slicked back pompadour ponytail by celebrity stylist Shaul from the hair salon Shampoo on 3rd, located on L.A’s West 3rd Street. The salon, a joint venture between Shaul and his brother Shalom, specializes in the latest cutting-edge techniques and styles many of Hollywood’s top celebrities. In the case of Richards, Shaul’s work came together with her stunning gown, subtle makeup and dazzling jewelry to create a red carpet look to remember.
