Classic and Comfortable at Drawing Hope

Fashion and philanthropy shared center stage at the Drawing Hope International Masquerade Gala, a beautiful event celebrating the strength and courage of sexual abuse and rape victims. The Drawing Hope Foundation is influential in helping survivors connect with their inner strength, beauty, and freedom through artistic expression and peer-support communities, through the sharing of raw, personal stories, and common global experiences.

Red Carpet Tips captured all of the glamour and celebration of beauty as a media sponsor of the star-studded event. Honorees, presenters, and supporters shared their fashion and style tips with RCT reporter, Sonia Young, including the men at Drawing Hope, who all agreed the key to red carpet fashion is to stay comfortable and be yourself.

Reid Ewing

As a regular on the highly acclaimed television show, Modern Family, Reid Ewing has come to symbolize a teenage heartthrob with his charismatic style. In real life, Ewing likes to keep things simple, opting for casual clothing he can find in his closet and throw together in minutes. The actor says he usually has a big picture in mind when constructing a red carpet outfit, and that he follows his own mantra of “not trying hard” or over-thinking wardrobe selections.

Kyle Massey

Kyle Massey has been in the spotlight since he started appearing on the Disney Channel hit, That’s So Raven. As his career expanded, so did his style sense. Kyle tells Red Carpet Tips that you have to “do you”. Kyle’s advice is to be yourself, find a unique style, and always stay comfortable.

Garrett Morris

Garrett Morris has been in the spotlight for over thirty years, starring on SNL, The Jamie Foxx Show, and most recently, 2 Broke Girls. His style tips: be yourself, have someone help you buy your clothes, and be unique. Garrett’s style at the Gala included a black wool cap, a perfect standout accessory.
