BAFTA Los Angeles’ 2011 Britannia Awards

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is the UK’s leading independent charity working with the film, TV and video games industries.

Tony Award winner and “The Good Wife’s” Alan Cumming hosted the 19th annual Britannia Awards dinner at the Beverly Hilton on Novermeber 30th. Among those being honored that evening were Ben Stiller, Helena Bonham Carter, John Lasseter, David Yates and Warren Beatty.

BAFTA Los Angeles hosts seminars, brings film and filmmakers to inner city groups, provides scholarships for student filmmakers, and preserves archival interviews with prominent UK artists for the education of future generations. They support and encourage continued studies of the arts and provide insights into new advances in technology.
